“From Punta Cana, it was about an hour drive in total. This is a monkey sanctuary. Monkeys are not native to the Dominican Republic. The Mountain View’s are beautiful. Juan Cruz was our driver, and he was wonderfully informative and engaging. We saw cacao plants as well as learned a bit about the DR culture.”

“Loved the tour. The time in the monkey enclosure was well enough to take a lot of pictures and get to know them (about 40 mins). But also the show at the plantantion was interesting and very entertaining (about 50mins). We learned a lot about coconut, cocoa and coffee and got to taste all of the products. All the people involved did a great job. The pick up was right on time and the whole tripe well organized (ride from Punta Cana was abt 1,5hrs).”

“I just recently went on this excursion about a week ago and it was overall a good time. You get to hear a little about the DR, try some mamajuana and visit a very nice beach in the end. My only real issue with this excursion was that our tour guide Alex slandered Haiti while we were on our way to our first destination. While talking about how rich the Dominican Republic is, our tour guide felt the need to state that the reason Haiti is so poor is because of the lack of foreign investment due to the Haitian peoples inability to stop fighting. “It is a long day for be prepared (8-4pm). The activities were fun and the employees did everything to make sure you were safe. Walking and climbing status are necessary for the zip line activity so be prepared. It was nice that we got to see a local beach. Our guide Jeudi was great. He gave us clear directions before arriving and had us laughing along the way.”
